Probabilmente sono io che non mi accorgo di qualcosa, però mi chiedo perché le liste di Elves che hanno fatto risultato recentemente non usino le Cavern of Souls o_O
In un tribal almeno un paio ce le vedo!
Provo a risponderti:
Innanzitutto Elves è un mazzo che sfrutta principalmente il mana prodotto dalle creature e che generalmente sfrutta il mana delle terre 2-3 volte nella partita e per creature minori. Quindi il supporto che la grotta da al mazzo è irrisorio. Aggiungendo a queste motivazioni, la vulnerabilità che potrebbe avere la manabase (molto ristretta, sole 17 terre) con le caverne, andando sotto a [carta]blood moon[/carta] ma soprattutto alla usatissima [carta]wasteland[/carta], direi che è meglio prendersi una FOW su un Elfo di LLanowar che perdere la tua preziosa terra. Infine con più foreste si rende meno probabile la situazione in cui carte come [carta]quirion ranger[/carta] e [carta]scryb ranger[/carta] (per quei pochi che ancora lo usano).

Il motivo è semplice: non sono necessarie. Il mazzo teme di più botti e botti+ spighe piuttosto che counter quindi basta giocarsela bene e il problema è risolto. Un mio amico gioca un 2x di side ma al momento non è nemmeno convinto di quello quindi… slot un po’ sprecati alla fine.

Grazie dei chiarimenti ragazzi 🙂 Comunque vedere Elves come mazzo competitivo in Legacy mi fa venire un tuffo al cuore, e mi ricordo di quando io lo giocavo unspoilered in T1 7 anni fa 🙂

Nel death & taxes mancano probabilmente 4 da spade a spighe, nessuno ha segnalato l’errore alla wizards?

Avevo iniziato tempo fa a montare uno storm però poi ho abbandonato l’idea pensando fosse troppo counterabile in torneo e vederne uno primo con la lista praticamente uguale alla mia (senza i lion’s eye) mi fa rimanere a bocca aperta xD avrà avuto una dose spropositata di fortuna? xD

Magari quella ci ha messo del suo (la fortuna intendo), Storm è un mazzo che va ragionato,devi avere tanto deck testing alle spalle. Devi sapere quando lanciare una Brainstorm, devi capire quale potrebbe essere una risposta dell’oppo (l’oppo con una terra STAPpata non stormo finchè non ho la certezza che non abbia Stifle in mano. Alternativa, Stormo cercando di arginare il problema…ovvero facendo scartare, lanciando doppio Tendrils,oppure facendo gioco al Massacro su Stifle…).
Storm è un mazzo che difficilmente può essere arginato se parte.
