Ryuuichiro Ishida si aggiudica il Campionato Nazionale Giapponese. Gli occhi di tutto il pianeta dei giocatori di magic sono puntati sul metagame di questo torneo, che in contemporanea allo SCG Std Open Cinncinnati è il primo evento di Tipo 2 nel post banning con le M12.
