From July 17 to 19, 2026, the Pro Tour Marvel Super Heroes brought 362 players to Amsterdam, who competed in a particularly unusual tournament in terms of structure and conclusion. The path to the final stage unfolded through sixteen rounds of Swiss: six rounds of Limited and ten rounds of Modern, with the results obtained in the two formats combined to determine the eight qualifiers for Sunday. This was the Modern Metagame:

It is therefore important to clarify why this page presents the Top 8 through the Modern decks, despite the knockout stage being played in Draft. The listed decklists are those used by the eight protagonists during the Modern rounds that contributed to their qualification: Allosaurus Combo, Boros Aggro, Broodscale Bloodchief, Eldrazi Ramp, and Instant Reanimator thus represent the Constructed face of the Top 8, but not the decks with which the quarterfinals, semifinals, and final were played.

On Sunday, in fact, the qualifiers faced a new Booster Draft of Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes, followed by a single-elimination bracket played with the newly built decks. It was the first Pro Tour Top 8 entirely played in Draft in fifteen years, a choice that brought Limited back to center stage at the most important moment of the tournament.

The title was won by Yuuki Ichikawa, who first qualified thanks to a solid run in the Swiss rounds, where he piloted Allosaurus Combo in Modern, and then prevailed in the conclusive Draft. In the final, the Japanese champion defeated Italy's Lorenzo Gruppi, concluding an event in which Constructed preparation, Draft reading ability, and adaptation carried equal weight. The Modern deck standings therefore show the archetypes chosen by the players who reached the Top 8, while the definitive sporting result was decided exclusively on the Limited battlefield.
