Dopo una stagione degli spoiler insolitamente divisa, gli eventi prerelease di Marvel Super Heroes sono arrivati. Il 19 giugno non è stata solo la prima occasione per i fan di giocare il set, ma anche il momento in cui i negozi locali hanno iniziato a venderlo.
Anche se Marvel Super Heroes potrebbe non essere il set più potente di MTG, contiene comunque alcune carte fantastiche. Tra nuovi Commander fuori di testa e qualche gemma anche per i formati constructed, c’è parecchio di cui essere entusiasti. Come al solito, molte di queste carte ad alto power level hanno anche prezzi davvero importanti.
Fatte queste premesse, è il momento di passare ai prezzi. Ecco le carte MTG più costose del set Marvel Super Heroes.

Essendo uno dei personaggi più popolari del multiverso Marvel, non sorprende che ci sia molto hype attorno a Tony Stark. Per questo motivo, questa Modal Double Faced Card, o MDFC, è anche una delle carte più costose di Marvel Super Heroes. Al di là della popolarità del personaggio, però, Tony Stark // The Invincible Iron Man è anche una carta piuttosto potente.
Offrendo vantaggio carte costante e un modo per barare in campo artefatti enormi, Tony Stark // The Invincible Iron Man sembra destinata ai mazzi Commander focalizzati sugli artefatti. Considerando quanto questo archetipo sia popolare in Commander, non sorprende che la carta sia costosa. Detto questo, guardando i primi numeri di EDHREC, questa carta è ben lontana dall’essere il Commander più popolare del momento.
Al momento resta da vedere se questi numeri di gioco ancora bassi aumenteranno una volta che Marvel Super Heroes sarà pubblicato ufficialmente. Se non dovesse succedere, allora c’è una possibilità concreta che Tony Stark // The Invincible Iron Man possa perdere terreno.
4 | Mjölnir, Hammer of Thor
Essendo la nostra scelta come miglior carta complessiva di Marvel Super Heroes, non sorprende che Mjölnir, Hammer of Thor sia anche una delle carte più costose. Offre rimozione solida e danni per i mazzi Commander focalizzati sugli Equipment, e ha un potenziale reale. Come se non bastasse, però, poterla scartare per ottenere un effetto alla Pyroclasm è un upgrade enorme.
Grazie alla combinazione di queste abilità, Mjölnir, Hammer of Thor sarà un auto-include in moltissimi mazzi Commander allineati al rosso. Nel peggiore dei casi, questa carta è una rimozione interessante, ma può facilmente trasformarsi anche in una minaccia capace di chiudere la partita. A completare il tutto, ha persino un forte appeal competitivo, grazie alla presenza attuale in Standard di molte creature con costituzione bassa.
Anche se Mjölnir, Hammer of Thor è comprensibilmente piuttosto costosa in questo momento, non è chiaro quanto a lungo questo prezzo possa reggere. Non solo stiamo parlando di prezzi di prevendita, ma questa carta ha anche tre varianti uniche, quindi l’offerta dovrebbe essere abbastanza abbondante. Anche tenendo conto di questo, però, la domanda per questa carta sarà probabilmente alta, quindi vale sicuramente la pena tenerla d’occhio.

Meritandosi facilmente un posto nella nostra lista delle migliori carte di Marvel Super Heroes, King T’Challa // Black Panther, Hope Enduring ha un potenziale enorme. Capace di pescare fino a 16 carte per ciclo di turni in Commander, King T’Challa è una vera macchina da vantaggio carte. Non solo vi terrà avanti nella partita, ma potrà anche preparare condizioni di vittoria davvero folli.
Grazie a questo potenziale, sembra che King T’Challa // Black Panther, Hope Enduring abbia una reale possibilità almeno in cEDH. Oltre a questo, King T’Challa potrebbe vedere gioco anche in Standard, in un mazzo control orientato al tempo. Anche se questo non dovesse accadere, però, questa carta resta un fantastico motore di pescata per i mazzi Azorius, e vedrà sicuramente molto gioco.
2 | Jennifer Walters // The Sensational She-Hulk
Tra tutte le carte presenti in questa lista delle più costose di Marvel Super Heroes, Jennifer Walters // The Sensational She-Hulk è l’inclusione più sorprendente. Con un prezzo europeo intorno ai 22 € in calo, si potrebbe pensare che sia facilmente una delle carte migliori del set, ma in realtà è sorprendentemente di nicchia. In sostanza, Jennifer Walters è semplicemente un altro effetto alla Voice of Victory per i mazzi Selesnya.
Anche se questo potrebbe non sembrare particolarmente entusiasmante, avere un effetto aggiuntivo di questo tipo in Commander è sempre benvenuto. In teoria, l’identità di colore di Jennifer Walters // The Sensational She-Hulk rende le cose più complicate, ma il cEDH raramente si lascia frenare da questo problema. Per questo motivo, Jennifer Walters comparirà in tantissimi mazzi, anche se non dovesse mai trasformarsi.
1 | The Mind Stone
Senza sorpresa, The Mind Stone è la carta più costosa di Marvel Super Heroes. Seguendo le orme di The Soul Stone da MTG Spider-Man, questa nuova Gemma dell’Infinito sarà subito una staple in Commander. Secondo EDHREC, infatti, questa carta è già stata inserita preventivamente in oltre 4.600 mazzi Commander.
In sostanza, come mana rock indistruttibile a due mana, The Mind Stone ha già un posto nella maggior parte dei mazzi Commander allineati al bianco. Poter usare Harness su questa carta è praticamente un upgrade gratuito, anche se detta così è quasi riduttivo. Poter flickerare qualcosa gratis durante la vostra end step è un enorme vantaggio per moltissimi mazzi, non solo per quelli focalizzati sul flicker.
Anche se il suo prezzo europeo intorno ai 40-60 € può sembrare assurdo, potrebbe in realtà non essere così alto rispetto alla domanda potenziale. Per fare un confronto, The Soul Stone si è già dimostrata una carta molto richiesta, e The Mind Stone è probabilmente persino migliore. Questa nuova Gemma dell’Infinito potrebbe quindi mantenere un prezzo elevato anche dopo l’uscita ufficiale, ma resta ancora da vedere quanto peserà l’effettiva quantità di copie aperte.
