Continuano senza sosta gli spike di prezzo nel mercato di Magic: The Gathering, trainati sia dalla domanda dei collezionisti sia da quella dei giocatori. Analizziamo tutte le principali impennate delle ultime settimane.
Per i prezzi prenderò come riferimento principale CardTrader. Per le carte dal valore pari o superiore ai 50 €, invece, utilizzerò il prezzo minimo tra CardTrader e Cardmarket.
Prismatic Lace (Mirage, Reserved List) è passata da circa 1,50 € a 10 €. Il motivo è la sua sinergia in Commander con Mondo Gecko delle Tartarughe Ninja e con Sisay, Weatherlight Captain.
Earthcraft (Tempest, Reserved List) è salita da circa 100 € a 130 € su Cardmarket e fino a circa 180 € su CardTrader. Il motivo è la sinergia in Commander con The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl di Marvel Super Heroes: con almeno quattro Scoiattoli sul campo, le due carte permettono di generare un numero infinito di pedine Scoiattolo e di mana. Loki, God of Mischief è passato da circa 1 € a circa 10 €. La carta sta ottenendo risultati in Modern e viene testata anche in Legacy e Standard. Inoltre, il fatto di essere un God la rende, in Commander, un'interessante aggiunta ai mazzi con Atreus e Kratos, Stoic Father. [Vedi Forum]
Crossover Collaboration, ancora in prevendita su CardTrader a causa del ritardo nella distribuzione dei mazzi Commander di Marvel Super Heroes, è passata da circa 0,30 € a 3 €. Lo stock disponibile è ormai quasi esaurito rispetto a poche settimane fa. Su Magic Online ha addirittura raggiunto i 13 Tix. Il motivo è il Pauper, dove la carta sta trovando spazio nelle liste di Ruby Storm.
Stronghold Gambit (Nemesis) è salita da circa 1,50 € a circa 15 €. Negli ultimi tempi è comparsa con maggiore frequenza nelle sideboard di Reanimator in Legacy, ottenendo diverse Top 8 e contribuendo anche alla vittoria di una Challenge su MTGO il 28 giugno. La carta trova occasionalmente spazio anche nelle sideboard di Reanimator in Premodern. [Vedi Forum]
The Fantasticar è passata da circa 10 € a circa 40 €. La carta è entrata con decisione nei formati Legacy e Vintage. Penso che l'attesa per l'European Legacy Masters 2026, prestigioso torneo Legacy in programma il 12 luglio in Belgio, stia contribuendo ad aumentare ulteriormente l'interesse verso questa carta, con molti giocatori che stanno cercando di procurarsela prima dell'evento. In vista de Lo Hobbit (agosto 2026), l'entusiasmo intorno a The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth sembra non arrestarsi. Diverse Poster Cards hanno infatti registrato nuovi aumenti.
